Chopped Salad

From Gourmet Magazine

2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1-1/2 tsp sugar
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup olive oil
1 small head Romaine lettuce, chopped
1 seedless cucumber, chopped
1 yellow pepper, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
red onion, finely chopped, as desired
1 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves
1/2 cup black olives, chopped

Make the dressing: whisk lemon juice, sugar, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Toss with remaining ingredients.
